im a sideline guy… i do love her. but i just try to be a friend i respect her boundries. i dont even flirt with her. on rare occasions though she will come on to me. afterwards its back to friends. i let her play her head games. the last time it happened though i feel bad, cuz she cheated on him with me and then they got married, and then shortly after divorced him. this has been goin on for 5 years. sometimes i catch her looking at me like she used to. what do u think about all this?
by the way, i have dated other girls within those 5 years, just recently in the last 2 or 3, i gave up dating. i’ve even turned down a few girls. i remain single though. i realize that the emotions i feel are only chemicals that my hypothalamus gland realeases to make me feel the feeling of love, hate, regret, jealousy, happy, sad etc… those feelings are only chemicals that you can become addicted to. just like those girls you know who are constantly surrounded by drama. theyre addicted to it.

Great advice. My brother was a sideline guy for a long time. The worst thing was that she kept leading him on to keep him around and hopeful. He got hurt bad in the end.
I have more female friends than guy friends but they are all girls who I am not particularly interested in so its not a problem. Basically I think that if you are crazy about a girl you should go for it and if the relationship doesnt move forward then don’t hang around.
